In addition to being eaten fresh, the Devgad mango Peti is also used in a variety of dishes and desserts.  The mango is also used to make mango lassi, a popular Indian drink made with yogurt, water, and mango puree.

The Devgad mango Peti is highly prized by mango connoisseurs and is considered to be one of the best mangoes in the world. It is often more expensive than other varieties of mango due to its high demand and limited supply. However, for many people, the taste and quality of the Devgad mango is worth the extra cost.
